A graduate in electronics and communication engineering from the National Institute of Engineering in Mysore, Ms. B Sindhu chose Public Administration and Sociology as her subjects in the civil services exam. She topped the State in the civil service examination in 2011. Currently she serves as the Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
Dr. Rajan leads the Human Resources, Marketing and the Community Engagement agenda for the Bank. He is also the CEO of IDFC Foundation.
Dr. Rajan was Group CHRO and member of the Group Executive Council of Tata Sons. He also served as a nominee of Tata Sons on boards of various Tata companies. Prior to joining the Tatas, Dr. Rajan was Global Leader of the People & Organization practice of Ernst & Young, where he oversaw HR Consulting operations in over 30 countries with a team of over 700 people. He has more than three decades of work experience spanning various line and staff functions.
Dr. Rajan is a graduate in economics from Loyola College, Chennai; a post graduate in business management from XLRI, Jamshedpur; and has a doctorate from IIT Delhi. He was conferred the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” by XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he is also a member of the Board of Governors.
Dr. Rajan is a former National President of the NHRD Network, India’s largest HR association. He is a visiting faculty member at IIM-A and XLRI and is the author of ‘Quote Me If You Can,’ a compilation of his thoughts on business.
Mr. A.K.T Chari joined IDFC as Chief Operations Officer in 1999 and was later designated as Executive Director. During his tenure with IDFC till September, 2010, he was responsible for all Project Finance and Infrastructure Finance transactions and decision making at IDFC. From October, 2010 till September 2015, he served as Advisor with IDFC. Mr. Chari has over 40 years of experience, in the areas of Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance and Venture Capital Finance Prior to joining IDFC, Mr. Chari worked with the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) for 25 years where he held the position of Chief General Manager/Adviser – Corporate Finance. In this role, his responsibilities included appraisal of projects – infrastructure and industrial, project monitoring and portfolio management in the Large, SME and venture capital sectors. Currently he is serving as Non-Executive Director on the Boards of a few Companies, engaged in Infrastructure activities, Mr. Chari holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras, India.
Mr. Murthy’s professional career spanning over 35 years comprises his stints as an independent advocate, in-house lawyer of Nationalized Banks, General Manager-Legal, Industrial Development Bank of India, Chief Legal Advisor, Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd, Group Legal Counsel, Essar Group and his present assignment. As an in-house counsel, Mr. Murthy has successfully lead/steered many initiatives and transactions, both in India and abroad. His areas of specialization include domestic and international M&A, industrial and Infrastructure Financing and domestic and international litigation/arbitration. He has extensively contributed to formulation of various policies and regulations and also developing structures for public-private participation in infrastructure sectors. Mr. Murthy is a law graduate from Bangalore University and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. His areas of expertise include, inter alia, Banking, Corporate, M&A, and Commercial and Infrastructure laws.
Mr. S. N. Nagendra serves as Regional Business Head of Karnataka & Goa and Member of Executive Management at Housing Development Finance Corp. Ltd.. Earlier, he served as its General Manager and Senior General Manager. Mr. Nagendra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Law and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration.
