Mr Mukherjee, who holds ME and BE in Electrical Engineering, served in various administrative capacities in the State Government, retiring as Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka.
Among his many achievements during his illustrious career, is a policy that resulted in the increase of statutory protected area under Karnataka’s National Parks & Sanctuaries by 2,000 sqkm. He was also responsible for setting up the DFID funded KAWAD watershed project as an NGO outside the formal government set up, which became a National Model for sustainable livelihoods. The project became quite well known for its innovation as well as its experimentation with different institutional structures.

He has also been Chief Wildlife Warden, Karnataka Forest Department and Managing Director, Jungle Lodges & Resorts and Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation. Retired as Director (Tariff) from Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission after 37 years and 6 months of services in the Government Electricity sector, Mr. Pandit’s focus areas include renewable energy sources, tariffs and regulatory matters, financial modeling, financial structuring and fund syndication for the projects.
Former Associate Vice President from Infosys, Partha has 40+ years of experience in various roles including Delivery Head of Strategic Sourcing, Head of Microsoft Technology Center at Infosys and Sr. Engineering Manager at MECON (India) Ltd. He has published a book on Software Estimation and also is recipient of several excellence awards at Infosys. Partha is a former International Basketball player and is the recipient of the Karnataka Dasara Award for excellence in Basketball. As part of social commitments, Partha is associated with B.PAC (Bangalore Political Action Committee) as CTO. He also has been teaching computer basics specially to elders and till date he has coached more than 650 elders.
